He has over 10 years of experience in consulting for Justice Sector reform programmes such as Security Justice & Growth (SJG); Justice for All (J4A) both funded by the UK DFID and Rule of Law and Anticorruption (RoLAC) funded by EU. His work focused on coordinating the activities of the programmes variously in Kano, Jigawa and Kaduna states.
His interest and contributions to the justice reform activities in Kano led to his appointment as a member of the Kano State Justice Sector Reform Team (KJSRT). Bello’s specific areas of project delivery include development of record keeping system and code of conduct and oversight programmes under the traditional justice reforms of Justice for All (J4A) programme. His project management experience include his role as Project Team Leader responsible for Green Horizon project on managing the human resource aspect of GEMS 3 Systematic Land & Titling Registration (SLTR), which is a multi-million naira project in Kano co-funded by DFID, EU and Kano State Government.
