The Result :
“I wish to declare that the Jigawa State Government is fully committed to the protection of the Child and the evolvement of an equitable society where equal opportunities are given to all irrespective of gender, age or bodily infirmity. We will cooperate and collaborate with all persons, bodies, and authorities in our
commitments to protect the Child and implement an equitable gender policy” Alh Umar Namadi H.E Deputy Governor of Jigawa State
“I first of all wish to profoundly thank the organisers and appreciate the wisdom of this workshop. We in the Force have no way of learning about the JSGP and the NGP if not for this workshop. As for the CPL we urge all concerned to realise the importance of establishing the Family Court in the State because we have a lot of cases that properly belong to that Court” Rep. Nigeria Police and O/C Prosecution.
“The Government has done a lot in this direction through interventions like the CPL, Sexual Assault Referral Centre and host of other interventions. However more needs be done. I note with delight the responses of the participants to issues raised and discussed particularly the understanding that implementation of
the NGP and the CPL is the responsibility all and requires full participation by the stakeholders. Director Min. of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dutse.
“We really appreciate the organizers of the workshop and we say a big THANK YOU. I am glad to say that I had scant knowledge of both the NGP and the CPL before the workshop but now I know better. I also understand my responsibilities as a stakeholder towards the society in respect of the Law and the Policies.
